These powerful 8-inch kitchen shears are Henckels's premier model. They're balanced in the hand for a comfortable grip and are large enough to accommodate even thick fingers. Blades curve inward so the cutting action is smooth and exact. A steel-tooth inset in the handle opens bottle and other screw caps. A plastic cap on the screw securing the blades can be lifted so the shears may be taken apart for resharpening. Hand washing is recommended. --Fred Brack
