The ultimate in well-designed poultry shears, these balanced, powerful, 10-inch shears have curved, high-carbon, stainless-steel blades for cutting apart poultry. One blade is notched to cut through bones easily and serrated to prevent slippage. Handles are made of tough polypropylene and curved to fit the hand snugly so that maximum force can be exerted with minimal effort. For storage, the handles lock by simply pushing a red slide at the blades' base with the thumb. The sturdy barrel spring between the blades ensures the blades move precisely. The blades themselves curve inward so they meet in only one place at any given position and cutting action is smooth and exact. For resharpening, the blades can be taken apart.
