This Olive Wood & Bone Inlay Salad Server Set Square Batiked (Kenya) (12in) - Bamboula #UTNK23 goes well with any salad serving bowl. Uniquely designed and hand made by artisans from Kenya. These look great with a wooden, glass, or acrylic salad serving bowl and can be used for foods other than salad! The wood is polished smooth and left in the natural and beautiful two-tone color of the olive wood. To create the unique two-color patterns on the animal bone inlay, designs are created in melted wax and then the bone is dipped in a dark dye. These salad shovel servers can be made to last a lifetime by periodic treatment with mineral oil. Please note that measurements are approximate and will vary, your set will be the same style, but will not look exactly like the ones in the photo - with hand-crafted items, no two are exactly alike.
